The Material Handler assists the inspector and/or operates the exit end of the Tenter Frame. The Material Handler helps inspect every production lot for flaws and helps record and mark flaws on fabric. The Material Handler is responsible for labeling and bagging each finished roll and placing it in the specified rack. The Material Handler will assist the inspector when cutting out a roll of fabric.
Material Handlers on the automotive side will inspect, package, label and move rolls weighing up to 200 lbs.
The role of the Material Handler will report directly to the Operations Manager. The Material Handler will take direction from the Inspector or the Frame Operator.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on the production floor in a manufacturing facility.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 3:00pm to 11:00 pm shift. Occasional weekends may be required.
