MP Materials is seeking a Material Handler to be an integral part of our production operations team at our new metal, alloy, and magnet-making facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a rare opportunity to have a vital role in the development of a greenfield advanced manufacturing facility and helping to define the future of American manufacturing.
The new facility will contain a broad range of chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal processes, including high temperature chemistry, handling of molten metals, powder metallurgy, machining, and assembly. The Material Handler must engage with a broad range of technical specialists to gain a working understanding of the physical processes, key control metrics, and potential hazards involved. The Material handler will be part of a team of skilled manufacturing personnel operating a best-in-class magnet manufacturing facility.
JOB SUMMARY
The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and organized movement of materials, products, and goods within our production facility. They are also responsible for supporting our production team in operations tasks needed to meet our manufacturing requirements.
