Responsibilities:
• Has a thorough understanding and follows our company’s inventory policies and procedures. Follows and thoroughly
understands the company’s customers, products and services. Ask questions when confronted with unfamiliar situations, but
also assists less experienced employees in these areas by providing information as necessary.
• Performs the tasks necessary to maintain an efficient flow of incoming materials, inventories, and outbound shipments of
products to be able to effectively serve our customers.
• Loads and unloads trucks and transports materials, product and supplies in and out of the warehouse using both powered and
non-powered equipment, as necessary.
• Organizes and maintains inventory locations including pallet racks and bins in an orderly and safe manner.
• Maintains and stocks assorted supplies, alerts the supervisor when supplies are low and then orders the needed items in a
timely manner.
• Processes customer orders by reviewing the pick or transfer ticket. Pulls the correct material for assembly, and packages the
orders and transfers properly for shipment using a variety of hand and powered tools, as needed. Stock is always to be reviewed
by two warehouse employees before being delivered to verify accuracy.
• Completes the required paperwork for intra-company transfers or shipments to customers.
• Communicates effectively with their coworkers and supervisor, along with other members of the Operations, Outside sales, and
Customer service teams as required.
• Assist in developing solutions to any shipping delays as needed.
• Communicates any suggested changes to policies and procedures to the supervisor for review.
• Keeps the supervisor aware in a timely manner of any issues needing the supervisor’s involvement.
• Maintains timely and accurate records and reports, as required.
• Observe good housekeeping and safety habits.
Requirements
• Has one or more years of experience with the company fully meeting the expectations of a Material Handler (Inventory) or one
year of successful directly related experience within another company function or organization.
• Syteline or other ERP experience is preferred.
• Prior forklift experience is required.
• High school education is required.
• Has the necessary training to be proficient in the position.
• Very detail oriented.
• Has excellent communications and interpersonal skills to be able to interact effectively with others to meet customer needs.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations such as decimal/fraction conversions and reading measuring tools.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a fork lift license, and operate it safely in order to protect themselves and others around them.
• Has good computer skills and is proficient with all the related company systems and programs.
• Has basic analytical and problem-solving abilities to meet the requirements of the position.
• Effective time management skills in prioritizing and addressing multiple responsibilities at one time.
• High energy with a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs.
• High level of personal and professional integrity.

Physical
Loads, transports and unloads materials using powered and non-powered industrial equipment when appropriate. Constant walking and bending, regular pushing and pulling of materials, and must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
