Logistics Non-Conformance & Containment Focal | Mid-day Swing

Work Shift: 1pm-9:30pm Monday-Friday

Position Summary

The Non-Conformance & Containment Material Management Focal is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of Business Unit (BU) material management, ensuring effective control of non-conforming and contained material through inspection, disposition, inventory governance, and final closure. This role serves as the primary liaison between Quality, Engineering, Operations, Consignment, and Logistics teams to drive quality compliance, inventory integrity, material accountability, and escape prevention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete lifecycle of non-conforming, containment, and quality-held material from identification through final disposition and closure.
  • Manage Purge Pick and Containment activities, ensuring timely resolution of aged and stagnant material.
  • Govern physical-to-logical inventory accuracy, including:
    • Unrestricted (UnRes)
    • Quality Inspection (QI)
    • Blocked Inventory
  • Coordinate and manage transfers and returns, including B2B, In-Transit, CR Inspection, TPAK, supplier returns, and recovery activities.
  • Partner with Business Unit Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to drive inspection, disposition, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain BU Report Cards and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead weekly material and quality reviews, reporting and driving accountability for:
    • Missed Tasks
    • Delays
    • Deviations
    • Defects
    • Escapes
    • Aging Material
    • Open Containment Actions
  • Process material within Quality Notification and inventory management systems while maintaining accurate records, traceability, and compliance.
  • Analyze inventory and operational data to improve material velocity, inventory accuracy, and process effectiveness.
  • Support inventory control activities including receiving, storage, transactions, transfers, audits, and material movement.
  • Train and support stakeholders on material management, containment processes, inventory control requirements, and quality compliance standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing inventory aging, improving cycle times, and strengthening material governance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory management, quality systems, material control, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive cross-functional accountability.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), inventory governance, and quality management processes.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Semiconductor or manufacturing experience preferred.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
