CNC Programmer

Pay: $31/hr.-$35/hr.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Mastercam skills to develop and optimize programs for CNC mills and lathes. The ideal candidate can interpret engineering drawings, select appropriate tooling, troubleshoot machining issues, and collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.

• Program CNC mills and lathes to meet production and quality requirements.

• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T specifications.

• Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling, and workholding methods.

• Troubleshoot programming, machining, and setup issues.

• Support machine setups, prove-outs, and first-piece inspections.

• Maintain accurate programming documentation and revision records.

• Collaborate with machinists, engineering, and production personnel to improve cycle times and machining efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC programming experience.

• Recent Mastercam experience required.

• Experience programming CNC mills, lathes, or both.

• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and workholding.

• Ability to interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T.

• Experience with Haas controls and/or Fanuc controls preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
