Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule to meet customer demands and production capabilities.
• Collaborate with various departments, including production, procurement, and logistics, to ensure alignment on scheduling and resource allocation.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust schedules as necessary to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement in scheduling efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding schedule changes and potential impacts on production.
• Utilize scheduling software and tools to optimize production processes and reporting.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling practices and overall operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in production scheduling or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
