Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Carpenter (Residential) to lead and execute a wide range of residential carpentry projects with precision and craftsmanship. In this role, you will oversee the construction, installation, and restoration of residential structures, ensuring all work meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Your expertise will help transform homes into beautiful, functional spaces while maintaining the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines.
• Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation on residential sites.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to power tool safety protocols during all phases of construction.
• Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other specialized restoration industry tasks as needed.
• Interpret technical documents such as construction plans and site instructions to ensure precise execution of projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of remodeling projects while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential carpentry with a strong background in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, metal stud framing equipment, and other carpentry tools.
• Extensive construction site experience including framing (including frame carpentry), drywall installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, stucco application, and fixture installation.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques such as mold remediation and rebar installation is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on power tool safety standards.
• Strong understanding of wood construction materials and their appropriate use in residential settings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex construction plans and technical drawings accurately.
• Valid experience in remodeling projects or the restoration industry is highly desirable.
