Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Masker II to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production process by ensuring that surfaces are properly masked for painting and finishing. Responsibilities

• The Masker will be required to support and mask parts for anodize and plating processes in semiconductor/aerospace manufacturing.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and masking areas to be painted or finished.

• Apply masking materials accurately to ensure clean lines and prevent overspray.

• Inspect masked areas for quality assurance before painting begins.

• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.

• Assist in training new team members on masking techniques and best practices.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.

• Other functions include following written work instructions and OMS's providing detailed information to the special process engineer for documenting the masking processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a masking or painting role is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and proper handling of masking materials.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
