Job Description

This position will start out in our Titusville, Florida plant. We are moving our business to a new location within the next few months. We will be relocating to Edgewater Florida. Applicants must be able to make this transition.

Reason position exists: Applies protective masking (areas not to be plated) to metal parts according to customer specifications.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure timely production of high quality products to customer specifications

2. Apply tape, liquid masking (paints), plugs, etc. to parts in accordance with established practices and procedures to satisfy customer specifications.

3. Follow written and verbal work instructions to ensure accuracy of each project

4. Select and use proper tools (paint brush, plug size etc)

5. Follow company policies, work processes and documentation requirements

6. Adhere to all company policies and procedures

7. Follow work instructions, schedules and documentation requirements

8. Follow all NADCAP; AS9000; ISO and other regulatory requirements

9. Communicate constructively with coworkers, leads and supervisor

10. Share relevant information, questions and concerns with leads and supervisors

11. Ensure a safe work environment for myself and others

12. Follow safety rules

13. Report injuries and hazards

14. Strive for continuous improvement

15. Other duties as apparent or as assigned to meet business needs

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Ability to read, write, speak and follow instructions in workplace English
• Stable employment record in roles requiring strong attention to detail, dependability and commitment to quality
• Steady hands with strong finger dexterity, enabling precision painting and masking
• High school diploma or GED

Job Demand:

Frequent sitting and working with others in a team atmosphere. Consistent working with hands and fingers, concentrating, seeing, hearing, reading, working with paint and working indoors. Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
