Chemours is seeking a Marketing Research Analyst to join our Advanced Performance Materials team! This position will report directly to the Global Market Intelligence & Research Manager and be located at Chemours Corporate headquarters in Wilmington, DE. Remote working arrangements are also being considered for highly qualified candidates.

This role is to serve as the point person for the collection, analysis, and critical reporting of competitive, market, and business information, synthesizing market-back data and presenting insights to form a thorough market understanding of trends, drivers and emerging technologies in high growth markets attractive. Will contribute to enrich the data and analysis through research, bringing a market lens perspective, supporting strategic plans, programs and assessments for new products, applications, and market developments that can generate large growth opportunities for the Advanced Performance Materials business.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Research marketplace trends, customer needs, competitor activity and product performance/adoption; synthesize findings and make recommendations

  • Identify and evaluate new market development opportunities for management through market research and analysis

  • Develop in-depth industry assessments that analyze market share, growth projections and trends, emerging technologies, applications and market forces in strategic and core markets

  • Present market insights and research in a format that can be easily understood and consumed

  • Deliver reports to clients on a regular basis providing updates on market trends, insights forecasts and competitor activity

  • Manage AI tools and platforms for data collection, aggregation, sharing, dashboarding to track and monitor market and competitive intelligence information

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data sources, evaluating their credibility and potential utility

  • Support sales prospecting and route to market strategies contributing with market, customer and competitive insights

  • Participate across multiple marketing programs and process, leading opportunity assessments for new markets, products, applications and providing overall strategic marketing direction

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs and business challenges

  • Gain an understanding of the various APM business from a product portfolio, industry marketing platform and overall strategic standpoint. Support and participate in cross-functional project teams across markets

  • Manage projects to help drive growth by working closely with marketing stakeholders to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on target

  • Manage multiple projects according to timelines and budget

The following is required for this role:

  • BS in business, marketing, science, technology or engineering fields

  • Thorough customer/market focus and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadline constraints

  • Thorough internal and external communication skill

  • Ability to synthesize data across multiple syndicated and secondary resources to tell a compelling story and help formulate recommendations

  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical issues with simplicity, internally and externally

  • Passion, ability and interest to learn about new technologies, markets and applications

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Experience in competitive or business information gathering

  • Experience with artificial intelligence or business intelligence tools
