Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on various marine vessels.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in engines, propulsion systems, and onboard equipment.

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on navigation and communication systems.

• Be able to do Installation, maintenance and repair of general plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems

• Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and high-quality service.

• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations while working.

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their vessel's needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in marine technology is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Marine Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of marine systems, including engines, electrical systems, and navigation equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain any necessary certifications.
• Must have reliable car or truck with insurance and good driving record (MVR Needed).
