Job Description

We are looking for a proven shipyard leader who knows how to run a crew, keep production moving, maintain quality, and put safety first.

The Foreman will coordinate and supervise marine production crews that may include welders, fitters, tackers, helpers, firewatches, and other skilled craft personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of shipyard experinece
• Minimum 3 years of Foreman supervisory experience
• Strong marine fabrication, structural fitting, and /or welding knowlegde preferred
• Ability to organized manpower and assign daily prodiction work
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Knowledge of shipyard safety, JSAs, hot-work procedures, and production requirements
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to monitor safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and crew performance
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to communicate effectively with mangement screening
