Bring your talent and leadership to Raytheon's Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM). We have a high visibility opportunity for a 1st shift Production Supervisor in the Sensors High Volume value stream. Overall responsibility for a manufacturing operations team consisting of 10-15 employees. This individual will lead a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production.

You will be responsible for a safe work environment and will actively lead and engage in safety improvement projects. Engage in daily interaction with other cross business teams in Raytheon to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position

What You Will Do

  • Execution of schedule and cost.
  • Workforce planning and forecasting.
  • Employee hiring and training.
  • Time and attendance tracking.
  • Area Layout and flow management.
  • Ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures.
  • Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma.
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
