Job Overview:
Manufacturer of large custom-designed control valves seeking a welder to work in a dynamic and high-tech production facility. Successful applicants may perform material handling duties, weld various materials using multiple welding processes, and/or perform quality c checks on products.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Conduct all job duties with safety as a priority and in compliance with safety rules.
- Comply with and maintain areas to 5S standards.
- Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.
- Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Follow all safety and work instructions.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as required.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time: strength in arms and legs.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.
- Use of precision measurement tools and gauges.
- Shop math and capacity to complete calculations using handbook formulas.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- 2-3 years of welding experience and/or welding certification or schooling.
