Job Overview:

Manufacturing Technician

**Shift/Hours: **Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm. Some OT required.

**Pay Rate: **$18/hr+ DOE

**Location: **Rosenberg, TX

**Experience: **6+ months

Position Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented Manufacturing Technicians to join our clients' production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and precision monitoring of specialized cabling machinery. You will transform technical blueprints into high-quality cable products, ensuring every inch of production meets our rigorous standards for durability and performance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Technical Setup: Read and interpret complex job orders and technical blueprints to determine machine configurations and material requirements.
  • Precision Operation: Configure and calibrate production machinery to exact specifications; monitor machine performance throughout the production cycle to ensure optimal output.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks using precision measurement tools. Identify deviations and perform real-time machine adjustments to maintain total conformance.
  • Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and "Safety First" workstation. Perform basic troubleshooting to ensure equipment longevity and workplace efficiency.
  • Documentation: Accurately record production data and quality metrics as required by the manufacturing process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Proven experience working with mechanical assemblies and a strong comfort level around industrial machinery.
  • Technical Tooling: Proficiency with hand tools and precision measurement instruments, specifically micrometers and calipers.
  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to translate 2D blueprints into 3D physical products with high accuracy.
  • Professionalism: A strong work ethic, punctual nature, and a proactive "willingness to learn" attitude.

Preferred Experience

  • Direct experience in wire and cable manufacturing or electrical assembly.
  • Familiarity with soldering, wire stripping, or harness assembly.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S workplace organizational practices.
