Middleville, MI | Full-Time | Salary Non-Exempt

Our client is one of America's most trusted water heater manufacturers, with over 140 years of history building products right here in the United States. We currently have two openings on the 2nd shift team and are looking for hands-on technicians who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, take pride in keeping equipment running, and bring a strong troubleshooting mindset to everything they do.

The Openings

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrade projects
  • Calibrate controls, instruments, and gauges across the manufacturing process
  • Evaluate equipment performance using data and metrics
  • Assist with installation and integration of new manufacturing equipment

What You Bring

  • 2 to 3+ years of hands-on automation and controls troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment; strong candidates with less experience will be considered based on troubleshooting ability, drive, and fast learning
  • PLC troubleshooting experience required; Allen-Bradley strongly preferred
  • Robotics troubleshooting experience; Fanuc a plus but not required
  • Manufacturing lineside support experience preferred
  • Familiarity with servo motors, VFDs, motion control, and electrical control systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting instincts
  • Positive attitude with the ability to build strong relationships with operators and the broader team
  • Engineering or technical degree preferred; relevant experience considered in place of degree
