Full-time onsite:
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.


Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our THAAD factory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and testing of complex mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality products that meet customer requirements. The Manufacturing Technician will work in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict cleanliness and safety protocols.
This role is based out of Nashua, NH (NHQ) and will be on a Monday-Thursday 4-10 schedule. This position is available for a 2nd shift schedule beginning at 3pm. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test complex electromechanical systems, including sub-assemblies and final products
  • Operate and maintain cleanroom equipment, including workstations, tools, and test equipment
  • Follow strict cleanliness and safety protocols to maintain a cleanroom environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related issues and defects
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly processes and reduce defects
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assembly activities, including work orders, test results, and quality control data

Required Skills and Education

  • Must currently possess an Active Secret Clearance
  • Ability to possess and handle energetics
  • Experience working with large, complex builds
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Experience with cleanroom equipment, including workstations, tools, and test equipment
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and procedures, including SPC and FMEA
  • Experience with lean manufacturing tools, including 5S and visual management
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and procedures, including gowning, cleaning, and sanitizing

Typical Education and Experience

Typically a High School Diploma and 3 years work experience or equivalent experience
