Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to support various production and prototype projects in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
The successful candidate will utilize their electronic/electrical assembly skills to complete production assembly operations on electronic/electrical and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test electronic/electrical and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, including racks, modules, circuit boards, connector panels, and individual cables/harnesses
  • Support production and prototype projects by performing assembly operations, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements
  • Utilize electronic/electrical assembly skills to ensure high-quality products and meet production requirements
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and production teams to identify and resolve assembly-related issues
  • Develop and implement assembly processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assembly operations and test result
 
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to electronic/electrical equipment and materials
  • May require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
  • May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Required Skills and Education

  • 2+ years of experience in electronic/electrical assembly or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of electronic/electrical assembly techniques, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Experience with manufacturing engineering principles and practices
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Certification in electronic/electrical assembly or a related field (e.g., IPC, J-STD)
