Job Description

 
  • Perform regular equipment setups, program loads, and SMT troubleshooting and make adjustments to meet production requirements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot machine errors, placement defects, and hardware/software issues.
  • Monitor machine performance and proactively identify issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on all SMT lines, Trolley's and relavent equipment needed to keep SMT production running.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, leadership and production teams to ensure optimal process performance.
  • Maintain documentation and records of machine settings, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Training of new operators and building operators skills and knowlwdge on SMT and related operations.
  • strong communication amongst team to keep optimal production time, detailed information collection for incoming shifts / process owners.
 WEEKEND SHIFT: Thursdays - Sundays 10hrs shift

Required Skills and Education

 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with SMT experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with running an SMT line are highly desirable.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, machine manuals, and schematics.
  • Proficiency with computer-based machine controls and basic data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Preferred Skills and Education

 
  • Technical certificate or associate degree in electronics,
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion tasks.
  • Handle multiple lines operating at a time to keep production going and on schedule

Typical Education and Experience

Typically a High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
