Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of production workers to achieve daily goals and maintain high-quality standards.
- Coordinate and oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and promote a collaborative atmosphere.
- Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing support to team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and report on team performance to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools; familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
