SUPERVISOR (12 HOUR)
Role: Production Supervisor
Location: Hartford, Module 7- Nights
Schedule: 2-2-3, 6:00pm to 6:00am
You will work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that is highly automated, and immaculate. The Production Supervisor directs the overall module operations ensuring the achievement of production objectives at the lowest cost consistent with the company quality standards and customer delivery requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Works in conjunction with the EHS Manager to establish and maintain all policies and programs to ensure a safe working environment
- Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to ensure the production of company products at the highest quality at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards, and customer specification and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company’s standards for quality, quantity, safety, and ISO/TS.
- Participate in planning meetings, and recommending space, personnel, and equipment requirements
- Be part of the hiring process
- Recommend preventative maintenance procedures and plan the repair of machines and equipment to minimize downtime
- Continually evaluate processes and methods, and recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, utilization of people, and quality of product
- Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems; analyze and resolve work problems, and assist workers in solving work problems
- Maintain departmental supplies, tools, equipment, and order as necessary. Ensure the completion of all required production paperwork, records, and documentation, such as time cards, quality records, etc.
- Approve vacation schedules
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals
- Conduct employee probationary and eight-month performance reviews
- Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked
- Manage Master Technicians and Manufacturing Technicians
- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or HSED/GED Equivalent
- Associate’s Degree or an equivalent amount of education and experience
