We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor (2nd shift) to join our dynamic team in Wood Dale, IL. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, and shipping.
  • Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment to meet operational needs.
  • Implement and optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices and new procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports on warehouse performance and productivity metrics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment as needed.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • - Knowledge of blueprint reading

    • Ability to perform math calculations
    • 2-5 years metal manufacturing experiencе
    • 2-5 years supervisor experience
    • High school diploma or higher
