Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. In this role, you will oversee daily anufacturing operations, with occasional hands-on support, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to ensure production targets are met.

• Provides hands-on assistance on the production floor as needed, including supporting team members during staffing shortages, training periods, or peak production demands, while maintaining supervisory responsibility.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a positive work environment.

• Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.

• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.

• Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure product standards are maintained.

• Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance and supply chain, to optimize operations.

• Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and documentation.

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in manufacturing or related field is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
