Position: Manufacturing Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly


Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our production team by managing people, processes, and performance. This leadership role is focused on driving operational excellence, fostering accountability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has experience managing a manufacturing environment, is comfortable using data to drive decisions, and has a proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and implement positive change. This is not a hands-on machine operation position. Instead, the focus is on supervising employees, supporting production, and ensuring operational goals are achieved safely and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Monitor and follow up on data-driven initiatives, including:
  • FactoryWiz production metrics
  • Department performance and productivity
  • Shop cleanliness and organization
  • Employee attendance and accountability
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
  • Lead change initiatives and drive improvements throughout the production department.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to resolve production issues and support operational success.
  • Communicate production goals, expectations, and performance results effectively with employees and management.

Requirements

 Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience managing a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience managing production teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading people, improving processes, and driving performance.
  • Experience using production data and key performance metrics to support decision-making.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, results-oriented leader with the willingness to challenge the status quo and implement positive change.
  • Experience with FactoryWiz or similar manufacturing reporting systems is a plus.

Schedule

  • Full-time, hourly position.
  • Schedule includes rotating weekends as needed to support production.
