Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Lansing, Michigan
Shift: 1st

Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Supervisor oversees daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. This role leads production employees, coordinates workflow, and drives continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations and production staff
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
• Meet production schedules, labor targets, and efficiency goals
• Coach, train, and develop hourly employees
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues
• Track and report production metrics and documentation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work assigned shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

Preferred:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP a plus)
