Manufacturing Supervisor – Production (Up to $70K–$85K) – 1st/2nd Shift

Production Leadership | Team Development | Scheduling | Quality & Safety

Salary

  • $70,000 – $85,000 per year (based on experience)
  • Full-time, stable opportunity
  • Overtime as needed

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • 1st or 2nd Shift (flexibility required)
  • Weekend and shift coverage as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production operations and ensure the successful execution of production schedules.

This role is responsible for supervising personnel, coordinating workflow, and driving performance across safety, quality, and productivity metrics. The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who can balance people management with operational execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Own

Production Leadership & Execution

  • Supervise daily operations and ensure production targets are met
  • Coordinate and prioritize work schedules based on production demands
  • Distribute work orders and assign manpower effectively
  • Oversee setups and support new job launches

Team Development & Management

  • Train, mentor, and develop production employees
  • Monitor performance and provide coaching and feedback
  • Conduct evaluations and administer disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Operations & Process Improvement

  • Analyze production operations and implement improvements to increase efficiency
  • Introduce and maintain standardized processes and procedures
  • Maintain logs, shift hand-offs, and production tracking spreadsheets
  • Order and manage small tools and production supplies

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with:- customer delivery requirements

    • quality standards
    • company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and drive improvements in:- productivity

    • scrap and rework reduction
    • safety performance
  • Enforce all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout procedures

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with:- production teams

    • maintenance
    • quality
    • management
  • Support scheduling of service work and analysis of service parts

  • Ensure effective communication between shifts and departments

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience

  • Strong knowledge of:- blueprint reading

    • SPC (Statistical Process Control)
    • manufacturing processes
  • Experience with:- employee relations

    • safety procedures (Lockout/Tagout)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Preferred

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience managing production teams and schedules

You should be proficient in:

  • Supervisory Experience
