Job Title: Manufacturing Specialist

Summary:

The Manufacturing Specialist can do all of the setups and tool changeovers for all machines in the assigned area, adjust tool offsets, and perform basic machine maintenance.  The Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for keeping machines running and free of non-maintenance related shut downs.  

Primary Responsibilities (essential functions): 

•    Ability to set up machines with very tight tolerances

•    Ability to perform tape maintenance on weld bars

•    Ability to perform Changeovers on machines

•    Ability to perform basic maintenance on machines

•    Ability to follow all safety rules and precautions for area

Secondary Responsibilities (marginal functions):

•    Maintain clean and organized work area

•    Able to Read drawings or schematics 

•    Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

•    Must be able to stand and walk for 10 hours in a shift

•    Must have good mechanical aptitude

•    Must be able to consistently lift up to 25lbs independently

•    Must be able to teamlift 100lbs

Skills:   

•    Attention to detail

•    Basic measuring skills

•    Basic communication skills

Working Conditions:  

•    8-10 hour standing and moving

•    Lifting

•    Safety Glassed Required
