As an Operations Leader, you will provide valuable advice and guidance to support our manufacturing activities. You will mentor a team to achieve high levels of reliability and consistency on the production line. You will play a strategic role in developing and implementing
continuous improvements to our processes to ensure we create quality products.
As an Operations Leader, you will be responsible for:
Leading an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees. This includes production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.
Conducting frequent interactions on manager level with Engineering, Materials Planning, Maintenance Engineering, Project Management, Quality, HSE and enabling functions about technical and organizational alignment.
Handling complex manufacturing processes. Manufacturing department has to define approaches. Variety due to customization to client needs.
Leading a medium sized manufacturing unit with estimated revenue of $ 150 million

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical with minimum 15-20 years’ experience in a related field or demonstrate equivalent, professional work experience
Demonstrate solid experience gained within a manufacturing environment
Demonstrate experience of people management and leading and developing a team
Be able to show excellent problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
