Description
Manufacturing Quality Engineer - Responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards and regulations during the manufacturing process. Monitor production, identify defects, and implement corrective actions, often collaborating with other departments, customers and engineers to improve processes. This role involves both inspections and testing, as well as documentation, communication, and continuous improvement efforts.
Elaboration:
• Quality Assurance and Control: Maintain the integrity products throughout the heat treat process ensuring they adhere to quality standards and regulations per ISO9001 and TS16949.
• Inspections and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on products to identify defects, deviations from standards, and potential problems.
• Root Cause Analysis: Analyze the causes of defects or issues, identifying the root cause and recommending corrective actions.
• Documentation: Documentation of findings, inspections, tests, and corrective actions, ensuring proper record-keeping and compliance. Prepare procedures, work instructions, and policies per applicable product and customers.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate quality issues, solutions, and recommendations to other team members, including production, engineering, and management.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively seek ways to improve processes, reduce defects, and increase efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance: They ensure that products meet applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
Requirements
· High school education or GED.
3 - 5 years Related industrial experience.
· Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
· Must be willing to work in a shared responsibility and group setting.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
· Must have forklift experience.
· Must be capable of learning multiple tasks and willing to stay abreast of changes in tasks as well as learn new tasks.
· Must be willing to work flexible shifts.
Computer experience required in Word and Excel.
