Job Overview:
Prairie Farms Dairy in Dayton, OH is currently accepting applications for machine operators for our manufacturing plant. Filler operators, mix makers and plant relief are all possible options. We offer competitive wages, a generous health insurance program, an excellent retirement plan, and paid vacation. This is a first shift position, Monday through Friday and paid weekly.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality standards of our products as well as safe and efficient operation of equipment in the production department and after a training period, must be able to qualify on all operational aspects of each workstation they are trained on. The candidate will have some basic maintenance experience as well as some basic machine operating experience.
Physical requirements may include lifting, up to 50 pounds, operating pallet jacks, and standing and walking for extended periods of time. Skill requirements include set up, adjustment, operation, and sanitation of equipment along with running a machine for a long period of time.
Candidate must be able to pass the company pre-employment screening.
