Partner with the best
As Quality Inspection Engineer, you will ensure and coordinate all inspections activities, supporting Project Quality Management during final inspections and Field Service Engineers visits. You will be also responsible to achieve HSE and Quality, Zero Punch List, On-Time Delivery, Completeness and Costs Reduction targets on assigned units.

As a Quality Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring products technical compliance to Baker Hughes specifics and quality standards as per project requirements
  • Achieving Customer satisfaction during Final Inspection on product quality, ergonomics, and safety
  • Strongly interacting with Engineering, Project Quality Management and Field Service Engineers organizations to define sustainable inspections plan
  • Ensuring Packaging and Contractors certifications upload On Time Delivery for project documentation completion, with strong attitude to promote documents process improvements and process redesign proposals
  • Interacting with Cell Continuous Improvement Leader to support road map execution for processes improvement, Digital Innovation, Manufacturing Linearity, Zero Punch List and Completeness
  • Monitoring Contractors’ performance to improve execution quality mindset and support Quality Toolbox initiatives
  • Attending periodic reviews with Manufacturing Quality Team to achieve # of non-conformities reduction targets

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree (Engineering is preferred) or previous experience
  • Show prior leadership experiences in Manufacturing or Quality function
  • Be able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Show strong team building skills
  • Display knowledge of manufacturing operations and practices
  • Be able to counsel and motivate workforce
  • Show strong influencing skills and attention to details
  • Be able to bring assignments to a successful completion
  • Show fluency both in Italian and in English (oral and written)

Desired characteristics

  • Company Training Program Graduate (Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, etc.)
  • At least Six Sigma Green Belt certification
