Fabricate machine parts to specifications using a CNC machine.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities

**

• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling, and Horizontal machines .

• Measure, examine and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometres.

• Inspect finished pieces.

• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.

• Observe and listen to operating machines to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for a Set Up Operator to adjust.

• Keep required coolant levels on machine.

• Position and fasten work pieces.

• Complete Quality Control paperwork – Operation Sheets

• Separate Parts

• Move material or parts

• Sweep and keep areas neat

• Follow Safety Rules

• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
