WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Ensure all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.

  • Guide cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.

  • Plan and execute scheduling for multiple cells or a complex cell to meet production schedules.

  • Guide the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for multiple cells or a complex cell to optimize productivity.

  • Facilitate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.

  • Guide production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for multiple cells or a complex cell to enhance production capabilities.

  • Collaborate with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.

  • Ensure all employees have a safety-first mindset and are adhering to EH&S policies.

  • Execute production plan in line with the MPS (Master Production Schedule) to achieve on time delivery, hours, and efficiency commitments.

  • Real time problem resolution and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management.

  • Effectively manage resource requirements in line with capacity models and demand rates

  • Pulse survey participation, listening to feedback and driving improvement actions.

  • Lead and conducts meetings / reviews and prepares information to communicate the status of the programs to internal and external customers.

  • Work Monday through Thursday 4x10 shift 3PM-1:30AM.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

  • 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • LEAN certification.

  • SAP proficiency.

  • Collaborative leadership behaviors that emphasize high goal setting, team empowerment and providing support.

  • Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early, and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels.

  • Ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
