Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead manufacturing projects for pressure vessels and heat exchangers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with these products, a strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API), and proven experience in project management and leading manufacturing teams. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, ensuring quality and safety, and optimizing manufacturing processes in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans to monitor and control progress and ensure on-time delivery of equipment orders
Create and analyze reports to identify performance variances and support cost and schedule alignment
Coordinate and expedite internal and external project activities from order release through shipment
Maintain and track project plans, schedules, and action items
Identify scope, schedule changes, and make strategic decisions to support business objectives
Escalate issues as needed to ensure production plans align with forecasted sales and capacity
Lead daily production meetings to prioritize work, address constraints, and meet customer demands
Analyze and resolve production conflicts and communicate regularly with project stakeholders
Promote and enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with quality requirements
Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement of manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualification
Forklift certification or ability to become certified
Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience preferred
Experience
Seven or more years of experience managing the production, quality, and maintenance of pressure vessels and heat exchangers, with familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API) required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (walking, standing, lifting, bending, etc. for extended periods in a shop environment)
Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
Hands-on experience with hand and power tools used in fabrication, such as grinders, measuring instruments, etc.
Work Environment:
Ability to work in a fabrication shop that may be hot, noisy, dusty, dirty, or cold.
Potential exposure to chemicals and pinching hazards.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
Number of open positions: 1
Pay Range: $160,000 - $190,000 annually
Shift time: 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. /4:00 p.m.
Weekends & Overtime: Yes/as needed basis
