Manufacturing Manager

As Manufacturing Manager, you’ll be responsible for the following:
- Manage production teams that consists of day, and swing shifts. This includes Line Leads, Area Leads, Line Technicians, Machine Operators, and Line Workers.
- Manage the daily operation of manufacturing and works directly with other supporting departments such as safety, product development, warehouse, quality, etc.
- Uses Continuous Improvement methodologies aligned with the company strategy to drive and improve daily operations.
- Responsible for ensuring all employees receive adequate training. Assesses training needs and assists in executing or arranging training.
- Interface with department/customers on a daily basis.
- Conduct the cross-functional daily standup meeting.
- Monitor OEE and works with the technical team to ensure downtime is being addressed on a daily basis.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly key performance indicators. Reports KPIs to senior management team on a daily basis.
- Ensure all teams in manufacturing are compliant with GMPs and consistently monitors documentation.
- Assist in developing technical manufacturing processes.

- Experience continuous improvement methodologies (theory of constraints, Lean, 5S, TPM, SMED, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Great communication skills and the ability to connect and influence employees at all levels.
- Ability to hold employees accountable for results through coaching and able to recognize when education and training is needed.
- Ability to balance big picture thinking and attention to detail.
- An understanding of quality systems
- Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen .
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Any experience in filling/packaging processes and/or equipment a plus.
