ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Performs operations involved in the servicing and maintenance of machine tools, hand and power tools and machine attachments.
- Checks, services and cleans compressors, hydraulics, plumbing fixtures, motors, relays and contacts, electrical and electronic panels and controls.
- Replaces parts and control modules.
- Carpentry and related work involved in maintaining buildings.
- Disassembles, select repair procedures, repair/replace worn or defective parts using hand, power, and a variety of machine tools.
- Performs some welding and fabricating of various fixtures and guarding.
- Helps with equipment/furniture moving.
- Not responsible for others' work.

QUALIFICATIONS
- At least (1) one year of industrial maintenance experience or specialized training in related field.
- Must possess good practical and technical skills.
- Ability in math and an understanding of engineering drawings and principles.
- The ability to work quickly and under pressure.
- An awareness of health and safety legislation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.
Preventative maintenance tasks sometimes involve work on ladders, scissor lifts, and platform work.
