• PERFORMANCE STANDARD
Write programming instructions for parts being manufactured, configure machine tools based on detailed specification provided by engineering and design team in the Green Book.
Machine mold parts that require high level of accuracy or secondary machine by:
Design the process
Design the fixturing
Design end of arm tooling
Provide instructions to operators once system is set up.
Set up machines with fixtures for secondary machining.
Design and create functional end of arm tooling and problem solve to modify parts as needed.
Support the production process in routine or high-priority tooling repairs, using robot to remake and redesign parts of the end of arm tooling molding process.
Solve tooling issues by identifying productivity of tooling, evaluating performance and requirements.
Fabricate prototypes and replicate components as needed.
Check parts to ensure conformance to tolerances and specified dimensions.
Forward completed parts to QA, engineering or production based on the stage in the process.
Perform maintenance on all machines in area and computer equipment including:
Running tests
Replacing worn or broken parts
Keeping inventory of parts and supplies needed to operate equipment.
Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
