Position SummaryKey Responsibilities- Evaluate and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to reduce or eliminate production downtime
- Perform machine repairs requiring basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge
- Assist with the installation, setup, and startup of new equipment
- Operate manufacturing machines and work alongside other machine operators to produce finished products
- Participate in equipment start-up, changeover, and shutdown procedures
- Support other plant operations as needed, including shipping, receiving, service and repair, and fulfillment
- Accurately enter quality, inventory, and production data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production line and work area
- Follow all company policies and OSHA regulations, actively participate in safety initiatives, and complete required safety training
Qualifications- High School Diploma or Technical School certification with 3+ years of related experience or training
- Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on automated and high-speed manufacturing equipment
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, AC/DC motors, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic computer systems
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with a diverse group of coworkers
- Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Experience with PLCs and/or other machine control systems
