The Manufacturing Janitorial Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This position ensures production areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and common areas are cleaned and maintained to support a safe work environment and operational efficiency.
Clean and sanitize breakrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum production floors and walkways.
Remove metal shavings, dust, debris, cardboard, and trash from production areas.
Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
Clean around CNC machines and fabrication equipment (does not perform machine maintenance).
Maintain clean aisles, emergency exits, and work areas.
Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with company procedures and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions to management.
