Description

FLEXIBLE OR PART TIME HOURS AVAILABLE DURING THESE SHIFTS:

1st shift hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Split shift hours are Monday - Thursday 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM (4 10-hour days) with 10% shift premium for hours worked after 4:00P.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of tasks to assist in production activities, which may include some or all of the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports production workers and staff in various production related tasks.

  • Performs simple shop operations by buffing, sandblasting, deburring, hand grinding, assembling, planishing, forming, tumbling, part washing, and/or part marking.

  • Carries supplies to workstations.

  • Sorts and examines parts to verify conformance with Company standards.

  • Maintains and cleans production areas as needed. Keeps shop area clean by sweeping, mopping, and operating a floor scrubber. Cleans us spills and stains.

  • Performs simple maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, changing filters or light bulbs.

  • Proceeds under direct supervision.

  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity with Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements that govern operations.

  • Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning.

  • Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures.

  • Accurately completes all required documentation.

  • Meets attendance policy requirements.

  • Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Currently enrolled and attending high school or college program with interest in manufacturing field.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read English and understand sketches, routings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and fractions.

REASONING ABILITY:
Requires the use of some judgment to comply with instructions, follow prescribed methods, and make minor decisions as to setups, operations, and processes.
