Job Summary
Responsible for evaluating and improving manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency. This role provides technical support and drives innovation across production lines, applying engineering knowledge and continuous improvement principles to optimize operations.

- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, safety, and product quality.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and other continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate waste and enhance workflow.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to production performance, costs, and cycle times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production objectives and effectively communicate capabilities and schedules.
- Lead and support engineering projects focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Research and implement new technologies and innovative methodologies to advance manufacturing capabilities.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including process standards and work instructions.
- Design and optimize facility layouts to maximize productivity and ensure safety.
- Participate in the design and integration of systems across departments to enhance coordination and output.
Qualifications
Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, production techniques, and engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with machining, assembly, deburring, and secondary operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and project planning software.
- Solid mathematical skills, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.
- Ability to deconstruct complex data and solve problems creatively within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and lead projects effectively.
- Experience with ERP or MES systems a plus.
- Exposure to Six Sigma or other quality control methodologies a plus.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement credentials a plus.
