Our client has been locally producing flexible seals for just about any machine, device, or product for multiple decades, with all manufacturing and shipping done locally onsite.
SUMMARY
Seeking a powerhouse General Manager to bridge between high-level strategy and daily production. The right candidate will have a deep background in manufacturing and the strategic grit to manage complex operations to ensure this small, locally owned and operated business operates at peak efficiency while maintaining quality.
PAY: Starting $130K - $200k DOE

LOCATION: Beaverton, OR
General Responsibilities:
Translate site and enterprise manufacturing strategies into actionable operational plans for the organization, aligned with objectives for safety, quality, productivity, cost, talent development, and sustainability
Hire, mentor, and manage a skilled workforce.
Develop and enforce budgets, manage cash flow, and research new revenue streams to scale the business.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure preventative and corrective maintenance is done to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production
Promote Lean & Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean/Six Sigma concepts such as SPC, Kanban, and 6S to streamline operations.
Set clear objectives, determine competitive compensation/benefits, and foster a safety-first culture.
Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports
Lead business development efforts and ensure every customer receives high-quality results.
Qualifications
Experience:¨NBSP;
Minimum of 7 years in management within a manufacturing environment and 10+ years of hands-on experience in machine operation, production, or manufacturing.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Solid working knowledge of manufacturing and business systems (ERP/MRP, MES, dispatching, capacity planning, Microsoft Office)
Demonstrated experience leading a team with commitment to employee development, accountability, and engagement
High level of understanding of financial reportsAbility to understand and work with relational databases
