The Environmental Services Tech will be responsible for performing the assigned tasks as determined by the Sanitation manager and/or sanitation supervisor. All Environmental Service Techs are expected to cross train in other sanitation roles to promote business needs. Cross training for all the sanitation roles is an essential function.
**Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions: **
*The Environmental Services Tech shall enforce all elements of food safety within the plant. *
*The Environmental Services Tech shall be responsible for maintaining sanitary conditions throughout the facility and outside grounds. This will include but is not limited to Floors, Walls, Ceilings, Restrooms, Cafeteria, Production Areas and Equipment, Parking Lots etc. Essential to performing these tasks is the use of floor scrubbers and scissor lifts. Other areas and equipment may be determined as an essential by the sanitation manager and/or supervisor, and proper training shall be provided. *
The Environmental Services Tech is required to support all line clean ups including documentation for pre-operational inspections, adverse events and MSS task completion. These are considered essential functions.
The Environmental Services Tech shall understand correct chemical usage and shall be responsible for ensuring that all cleaners are used as set forth in the manufacturers’ instructions. This is considered essential functions.
The Environmental Services Tech shall be knowledgeable in the cleaning matrix definitions and what is required for changeovers, shutdowns, startups, periodicals, 100% organic, 100% wash, 100% Allergen and kosher clean ups. This is considered an essential function
The Environmental Services Tech will communicate any discrepancies to their supervisor or the Plant Sanitation Manager. These discrepancies include but are not limited to; HACCP Programs, Allergen Control Program, GMP Findings, Adverse Events and Departmental Interactions.
