**Overview

**

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer with strong experience in fabrication, welding processes, and aerospace manufacturing. In this role, you will support and optimize production operations, develop robust fabrication and welding processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor. If you excel in hands‑on problem solving and enjoy working closely with production teams, this is an excellent opportunity to make an impact.

**Responsibilities

**

  • Develop, refine, and document manufacturing processes for metal fabrication and welding operations.

  • Support weld process development, including fixture design, weld sequencing, and parameter optimization.

  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase throughput.

  • Read and interpret complex aerospace blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications.

  • Collaborate with fabrication, welding, machining, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance.

  • Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for fabrication or weld‑related issues.

  • Assist in developing tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support efficient fabrication and welding operations.

  • Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel on fabrication best practices and process changes.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.

  • Support NADCAP and AS9100 compliance through documentation, process control, and audit readiness.

**Qualifications

**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Welding Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered).

  • Hands‑on experience in manufacturing engineering with strong exposure to fabrication and welding processes.

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and weld symbol interpretation.

  • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Familiarity with CAD software, weld process documentation, and engineering tools is a plus.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced aerospace manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
