Assemble, test, and evaluate electro-mechanical equipment, wire harnesses, and accessories in accordance with provided documentation (work instructions, schematics, pictures, and special instructions) and standard manufacturing procedures. Train other assemblers, assist with technical product assembly questions, and provide suggestions for process improvement. Write and update Work Instructions for equipment assembly. Assist engineering staff with testing and prototype building, build custom assemblies and perform other activities relating to process improvement or product development.

Education and/or Experience
Completion of a six-month electronics, electrical, or mechanical training program or three years of technical/electrical experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to assemble, test and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment, and perform quality control functions. Must be able to read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics. Must have a working knowledge of electricity, electronics, hand and soldering tools and have ability to read a multi-meter.
Ability to use a personal computer to perform light data entry. May be required to upload embedded software programs. Must have a working level knowledge of the MS Office Suite (or equivalent) in order to create and modify Word Documents, Power Point presentations, and Excel spreadsheets. Must be able to manipulate JPG images from a camera and incorporate the images into the MS Office Suite as required to produce Production and Engineering documentation and presentations.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple instructions. Ability to effectively relay information one-on-one and in small groups to other employees and management.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply concepts of arithmetic and algebra.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Employee must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
