Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Engineer Manager to join our team in Loxley, ALabama. Our plant is close to Mobile bay and only an hour from the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. In this role, you will lead a talented group of engineers and technicians, driving innovation and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. This role plays a crucial role in overseeing the design and layout of all processes within our plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians to achieve operational excellence.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes that enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Analyze production data and metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing operations.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of engineering solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, Six Sigma, Kanban and value stream mapping as well as quality control methodologies.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Experience with automation and robotics is a plus.
