Job Overview:

We’re looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success – and their own. Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

This role is ideal for a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys owning projects, improving how things are built, and seeing their work make a real impact on the production floor.

  • Improve manufacturing systems by leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of production machinery, equipment, and facilities—turning ideas into real, shop‑floor solutions.

  • Drive efficiency and cost savings by finding opportunities to reduce waste, improve throughput, and optimize plant performance, with visible impact on safety, quality, and cost.

  • Lead projects from feasibility to completion by building full project plans (resources, cost, timeline, and return on investment), owning execution end‑to‑end, and ensuring results are delivered and sustained.

  • Champion Lean and continuous improvement by leading Kaizen events and engaging cross‑functional teams to solve problems, streamline processes, and achieve shared goals.

  • Own capital projects by supporting capital expenditure requests, building business cases, and leading implementation to ensure projects deliver expected value.

  • Improve safety, quality, and productivity by designing and implementing tooling, fixtures, gauges, layouts, and work instructions that make processes safer and more efficient.

  • Be a go‑to technical resource by partnering with maintenance teams to solve equipment issues, resolve root causes, and improve long‑term reliability.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.

  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or related technical discipline.

  • Proficiency in programs such as AutoCAD and Solid Works.

  • Preferred experience in initiating and leading Lean Manufacturing and ongoing improvement initiatives.

  • Experience in project management
