Description

The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for structure & routing, method creation, and managing work orders to meet customer delivery requirements and support the Engineering & Manufacturing teams.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Prepare defined job packages which include detailed instructions, CAD drawings and Bill of Materials.
  • Review all assigned work orders for completeness of detailed information, materials and resources.
  • Coordinate and resolve Sales Order discrepancies with Sales Dept. and/or drawing discrepancies with Engineering Dept.
  • Create and maintain standard and complex part methods for various product lines.
  • Serve as a support liaison between Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing Team.
  • Evaluate and process Non-Conformances in a timely fashion.
  • Required to have proper and accurate entry in to the M1 data collection system.
  • Actively participate in improving processes and systems.
  • Work productively as a team member with other employees fostering a strong team mentality
  • Accurately follow ISO procedures.
  • Consistently meet company set productivity guidelines
  • Consistently follows all safety instructions

Qualifications


Skills and Specifications

  • Focused and detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative.
  • Strong communication, writing and organizational skills.
  • 2 years of Mechanical and/or Electrical manufacturing experience.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/ MRP systems preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associate and/or bachelors degree is preferred
  • Strong numerical reasoning ability
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
