Job Overview:

Role Description The Manufacturing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for complex parts, including evaluating designs for manufacturability and driving continuous improvement in production efficiency and quality. Day-to-day tasks include creating process documentation and work instructions, specifying tooling and fixturing, coordinating with machining, fabrication, and assembly teams, and resolving production issues. The role also involves collaborating with engineering, quality, and operations to support new product introductions, reduce costs, improve throughput, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The Manufacturing Engineer will use data-driven analysis to identify improvement opportunities and support a culture of operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Processes for complex, mission-critical parts.
  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering principles applied to production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Machining operations, tooling selection, and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools and familiarity with CNC equipment and shop-floor practices.
  • Must have expeirence in Siemens NX for tool-path creation.
  • Ability to analyze production data, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and shop personnel.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and standard safety and quality practices.
  • Experience in metal fabrication, assembly, and/or additive manufacturing is beneficial.
