Leading problem-solving and troubleshooting activities related to non-conforming materials, customer complaints, and incapable processes.
Ensuring all processes are set up and monitored in accordance with approved work instructions.
Providing mentoring and support to Technicians and Operators to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Supporting the development of cell layouts, material flow, handling systems, and overall production plans to enable effective lean and synchronous manufacturing.
Evaluating and correcting non-conforming products and processes in accordance with process controls and production procedures, including participation in the MRB Programme and product disposition.
Contributing to plant-wide Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) and Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.
Participating in the Internal Quality Audit and Vendor Audit Programmes to ensure ongoing compliance and quality standards.
Collaborating with R&D and NPI teams during early product development to ensure manufacturing input into new cell layouts and production readiness.
Supporting validation activities under the Internal Validation Programme and assuming process ownership following successful transfer from NPI to manufacturing.
Driving yield improvements, output increases, and cell efficiency using A3 Root Cause Analysis and Lean manufacturing methodologies.
Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer, Science, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, or 5+ years’ experience in a Process Assembly Technician role in a medical device environment
Relevant experience should include cleanroom manufacture, validations, process controls, process improvements and lean manufacturing
Students or apprentices (unqualified) will be assigned to a fully competent individual; co-signing will be implemented by the student’s or apprentice’s manager
An Associate position may be offered to candidates with limited experience and will involve working under the guidance of an experienced engineer
A Senior position may be available for candidates with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
Lean Systems Green Belt (LSGB) certification is desirable
Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) certification is also desirable
